Promo Studio

Privacy Policy

Promo Studio is an invitation-only workspace for preparing video promotions and publishing to accounts that users choose to connect. This policy explains the data used for that workflow.

Information we handle

• Workspace identity: the account identifier supplied by the workspace sign-in system, used to keep each user’s promotions and connections separate.
• Content you provide: videos, filenames, captions, promotion details, and publishing choices.
• Connected account information: the channel or account identifier and name returned by the provider, plus authorization credentials needed to use the connection.
• Publishing results: information needed to show upload or publishing status and links to content you publish.

Google and YouTube access

When you connect YouTube, Google asks you to grant Promo Studio the youtube.upload and youtube.readonly permissions. Promo Studio uses them to upload videos you direct it to publish and to identify the connected YouTube channel or read information needed for the upload workflow. It does not publish merely because you connect your account.

Authorization credentials are encrypted before storage. Promo Studio uses them only for the connected account’s requested features. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Promo Studio’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How information is stored and shared

Promotions, media, and account connections are stored for the signed-in user in the service’s hosted data and media storage. Access to the workspace is limited to invited users. When you choose to publish, Promo Studio sends the selected video and publishing details to the destination provider. Hosting and infrastructure providers process information to run the service. Other users do not receive your connected account credential through Promo Studio.

Your choices and deletion

You can disconnect a connected account in Promo Studio; this removes its stored authorization credential from Promo Studio. You can also revoke Google access in your Google Account permissions. To request removal of your stored promotions or media, or ask about your data, email restorationofthetentofdavid@gmail.com. Content already published to YouTube or another provider is controlled through that provider’s account and policies.
